taiwanese is the mother tongue of 85% of taiwanese people. due to years-long oppression from the chinese colonial government, this language is now considered severely endangered by unesco standards. i, too, once forgot the language i spoke with my grandparents. i only realised what a treasure i had lost after i left my home country, and now I'm trying to get it back. this project is an attempt to put my study of taiwanese to use, talking about things that inspire me and inviting my fellows to appreciate our language and identity.
